Alternative Beat Productions (ABP) was conceived late 2003 in response to Australian audience demand for tours by underground international artists. Registered as a business in February 2004, ABP provides a gateway into Australia for international acts that may have previously been ignored by larger local promoters primarily concerned with large profit margins.

ABP is based in Sydney and is headed up by Danielle Hatton, organiser and promoter of Australia's largest dark alternative nightclub event, VORTEX, since April 1999. Working with a select group of similar promotion/production companies across other Australian states ensures that standards remain high across the board.

As Alternative Beat Productions and our associates live and work as part of the underground music communities of Australia, we offer a unique approach to tours: we actually deliver what we promise - a professional tour combined with an awesome holiday experience!
